At Villanova, I was blessed to take part in classes and extracurricular activities that helped transform me into the leader I am today. Looking back on my time at Villanova, I attribute my success to the support of faculty, counselors, peers and even alumni, which is why I chose to take part in the Young Alumni Challenge and become a member of the Young Alumni Circle.
I chose to divide my donations between two recipients—the Villanova Annual Fund and the Haveners a cappella group—because I believe the true Villanova experience encompasses both quality classroom instruction and the relationships that are formed through extracurricular activities. With the help of young alumni, I could only hope that Villanova’s strong tradition of community and fellowship across disciplines will continue to thrive.
My photo shows one reason why I will continue to stay connected with the Villanova community. The Haveners visited Washington, D.C. this spring for a performance at Georgetown University and a weekend of alumni bonding, which was a wonderful opportunity for me to reconnect with the upperclassmen and meet the new members. I am so grateful for the relationships I have formed with these young women, and can’t wait to see what the future holds for this incredible group!
