A New Living Experience at Villanova University

Coming Soon...

Students enrolling at Villanova today will be among the first to experience life in the University’s new living and learning environment, highlighted by modern residential housing for upperclass students, University-operated retail stores, an innovative performing arts center, a parking garage and a pedestrian bridge that will serve as the gateway to Villanova’s campus.

The new residence halls, which are slated to open in summer 2019, will accommodate more than 1,100 upperclass students—allowing the University to provide on-campus housing for approximately 85 percent of its undergrads. Complementing their eye-catching Collegiate Gothic exteriors will be modern floor plans and amenities, as well as a bistro-style restaurant, a convenience store, a mailroom and a fitness center—making the residence halls the perfect center for Villanova student life.

Performing Arts

Also in the works is a new performing arts center. it will house high-tech performance spaces, studios and classrooms that support education and artistic innovation. The center will be a home to world-class educational programs that will influence generations of scholars, and a place where students, performers, faculty and the community can share a passion for the arts.

Pedestrian Bridge

Marking the entrance to Villanova’s beautiful campus will be an equally attractive pedestrian bridge over Lancaster Avenue at Church Walk. In addition to having aesthetic appeal, the bridge will make the walk to the western part of main campus—where 70 percent of classrooms are located— safer and easier for students, as well as for visitors to the University and St. Thomas of Villanova Church.
