Move-In Arrival Times, Required Courses, Fall Schedule Update

Villanova University and New Student Orientation will continue to send VU101 emails throughout the summer to keep you updated on important information and help prepare for your arrival. To view past emails, please visit the New Student Orientation website.   

Move-In Day Arrival: Friday, August 19
On Move-In Day, Friday, August 19, we anticipate an increased amount of traffic and waiting periods as we facilitate check-in for 1,800 new students. To expedite this process, all incoming first-year residential students will register for a move-in time via a unique link that will be sent to your villanova.edu email address. Students will be able to select a 30-minute window to move in between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. according to your assigned residence hall. Additionally, students will be able to edit and adjust arrival times using the unique link based on availability before Move-In Day, if needed.

AlcoholEDU and Sexual Assault Prevention for Undergraduates
AlcoholEdu for College and Sexual Assault Prevention for Undergraduates (SAPU) are objective, science-based, online alcohol abuse and sexual assault prevention programs designed specifically for college students as the cornerstone of a comprehensive campus prevention program. Participation in these courses is mandatory.

Fall Schedule Update 
We know students are excited to discover their class schedule, Communitas placement and residence hall information. Over the next few weeks, we will continue to work on scheduling and housing placements and many changes are made throughout the summer. Once this process is finalized, it will be posted in late July/early August, and we will share the information with you at your Villanova email address.
