Peers Offering Wellness Education & Resources

Members of POWER work in teams to sponsor and facilitate events related to health and well-being. We have the opportunity to plan events and programs, create social media and marketing campaigns, present to student organizations, assist in larger Office of Health Promotion events, and more! We can also host interactive health programs with student organizations and other departments.

We are a group of students that is passionate about health and well-being! Through three different branches of the POWER family tree, we work collaboratively to provide the Villanova community with information, resources, events, and programs related to health and well-being.

We are part of the Office of Health Promotion which allows us to have a greater impact on the Villanova community.

Applications are due in March and interviews are conducted every April. However, you can submit your application at any time! If you are passionate about health and well-being, then POWER is the perfect fit!

Cook-Less Cuisine

This program is designed to provide first- or second-year students with information and resources regarding healthy eating and recipes that they can easily recreate in their residence hall. This program includes a few rounds of trivia, microwave safety information, and a cooking demo with free samples!

POWER Bootcamp

Let's get physical, Wildcats! Wear your sweats, your sneaks and get ready to learn (and try) some easy fitness routines for your everyday use!

Create Your Own

We want to work with you to create an opportunity to discuss important health and well-being issues that meet your needs. E-mail to request a program at least two weeks in advance of the desired program date.

POWER is always accepting applications, and we make it easy for you! There is only ONE application for all three branches of POWER. Students are asked to indicate their interest in one or more branches of POWER in the application, and the interview process helps us to determine where someone is best suited. We conduct the POWER interview process every April, and we identify the newest members of the POWER family before the end of the spring semester. If you have questions about POWER, the application, or the interview process, e-mail

POWER is always accepting program requests.
