Villanova‚Äôs Division I athletics programs will be conducted in a manner consistent with CDC and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania recommended guidelines, along with NCAA, BIG EAST, Colonial Athletic Association, and Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference best practices and recommendations.

Varsity Athletics

Villanova Athletics is working in conjunction with all CDC and state regulations, along with the Big East and CAA guidelines, in order to participate in intercollegiate athletics in the spring of 2021. We are committed to the well-being of our campus community and our student-athletes and take all safety protocols seriously as we begin to participate.


Following state capacity mandates, there are no spectators or parents/families permitted to attend any Villanova home athletics contest. Attendance will be limited to team/team personnel and essential game day personnel/staff.

Fitness and Recreation Centers

Fitness Centers (Davis, Stanford, Farley and Arch) will reopen for the Spring semester on January 25 with normal operating hours. Reservations are required to use the fitness centers. Instructions to enroll can be found on the Athletics website.  Masks must be worn at all times in the fitness centers, and temperatures will be taken upon arrival. 

Group Fitness classes will be offered virtually (via Zoom). The cost will be $25 for unlimited classes. The schedule of classes and registration instructions can be found on our website.

Small Group Pilates Reformer classes and Personal Training Services will be available in the Davis Center. 

The pool is closed for recreational swim.

Indoor open rec (Nevin) is offline. The track will be open for recreation at certain times.
