Main Line Information
Location
Villanova University is located in Radnor Township, Delaware County, approximately 12 miles from Center City Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Villanova is part of the “Main Line,” a string of small towns and suburbs located west of the city along the SEPTA Paoli/Thorndale regional rail line. Some of the towns along the Main Line include Merion Station, Narberth, Wynnewood, Ardmore, Haverford, Bryn Mawr, Rosemont, Villanova, Wayne, and Devon. Housing
Finding an apartment or house can seem daunting especially when you're relocating from another state or country. However, on the Main Line alone, there are four different colleges so many apartments and housing options are suited for students.

- Center City Philadelphia
- Manayunk*
- Conshohocken*

- Norristown*

Apartment vs. House
There are many students who will rent a room or “apartment” in someone’s house as single room rentals with shared spaces tend to be more affordable. Additionally, students have joined together to rent a house or apartment for a lease term in order to reduce the cost of their housing.
