GRADUATE ASSISTANT HEALTHCARE SUBSIDY
Graduate students are an essential part of the Villanova community, and through our 10-year Strategic Plan — Rooted. Restless. — we are committed to building additional programmatic and financial support for this diverse population of 3,500 students.
As part of this effort, healthcare subsidies were introduced to support full-time graduate assistants who are enrolled in Master’s degree programs. Individual subsidies of up to $500 are available and are awarded based on qualifying need. Application information and key dates are included below.

Thank you for all that you contribute—intellectually, professionally and personally—to the University. Each of you plays an important part in making Villanova the vibrant community that it is.
ELIGIBILITY
Current Villanova master’s degree students enrolled full-time and supported by a graduate student assistantship (i.e., MRA, MTA, MPT role, whether funded internally or externally) are eligible to apply for the subsidy.
Eligible students may apply for the subsidy to help cover healthcare expenses including enrollment premiums and out-of-pocket expenses (medications, deductibles, etc.). The subsidy does not cover dependents. Receipt of subsidy is based on 1) student eligibility, 2) timely completion of application, 3) evidence of need and 4) availability of funding.
HOW TO APPLY
Eligible students must submit a completed application via a Qualtrics application form.
