Support Local Business: Shop Small, Take Out Tuesday, and BYOC: Bring Your Own Cozy!
You are invited to join the Villanova community in supporting local shops and restaurants by shopping small, ordering takeout, and bundling up for outdoor dining throughout the spring semester!
- Shop Small Business: Many of the items you might typically buy online or at big box stores are available at your local shops as well. By shopping at small, independent businesses, you are supporting our neighbors and local community, while stimulating our local economy and sustaining jobs.
- Take Out Tuesday: Most restaurants have found a way to continue serving during this difficult time, and many have expanded curbside pickup or delivery options. Now is the perfect time to order takeout from your favorite restaurant, or to try somewhere new! Don’t forget to order directly from the restaurant for takeout or pick-up. Some delivery app services have large fees. Join your fellow Cats and order Take Out each Tuesday night to support your local restaurants! Many of these restaurants have supported Villanova University fundraising initiatives over the years, and it’s our turn to give back.
- Outdoor Dining BYOC: Bring Your Own Cozy: Villanova University will provide each student a “Campus Cozy” – a warm and comfortable accessory PEFECT for outdoor dining this winter! Bring your cozy with you for outdoor dining at our local restaurants!
Visit restaurants and shops in St. Davids, Wayne, Radnor, Villanova, Garrett Hill, Rosemont, Bryn Mawr, Haverford, and Ardmore throughout the semester to support the local economies, communities and neighborhoods.

- Share some of your favorite local businesses on social media!
- Buy a giftcard for later
- Write a positive review on their Yelp, Google, or Facebook page
- Tell your friends!
