EMBA Class of 2022 Kicks off their Capstone Action Learning Project
Building on our history while creating our future, we are excited to share news of the highly anticipated launch of our Villanova Executive MBA Capstone Action Learning Project (CALP). Inspired by our Augustinian values of Veritas, Unitas and Caritas, and aligned with our EMBA vision of developing exceptional leaders who make the world a better place, the CALP is an immersive, team-based, reality-centric experience that serves as a catalyst to integrate all of our EMBA courses and enables executives to transform knowledge into action, drive innovative solutions and value creation for the sponsoring organizations. It is guided by team concepts and informed by analytic frameworks, and systems theory.
Recently, EMBA Class of 2022 kicked off their CALP experience by welcoming our sponsoring organizations to our classroom. Throughout the course of the day, executives had the opportunity to hear first-hand from their corporate representatives, conduct interviews and work towards setting expectations for this seven-month engagement.
In the spirit of Villanovans helping Villanovans we would like to extend our sincere thanks to those alumni who have stepped up to serve as corporate sponsors for our inaugural program, including: SuperNova, Luke Olenoksi '03, '19; SVP, Chief Information Officer, Main Line Health, Coleen Arnold '19; President, Aqua, Ken Carpenter '19; Sr. Level Commercial Management Executive, Vice President Sales and Marketing Trauma, Extremities, and CMF, DePuy Synthes, Paul D’Antonio '19; Worldwide Vice-President Trauma and Tami Caesar '14; Chief Operating Officer, National MS Society.
