July 20-23, 2021 at Villanova University
Update from ASACCU in response to the COVID-19 pandemic:
Dear ASACCU Members,
We hope you, your families, loved ones, and friends are well during these uncertain times. We are writing about the 2020 ASACCU Conference at Villanova University scheduled for this July. As many of you have either composed or received an email of this type in recent weeks, we write to share the decision to postpone the ASACCU Conference this year due to continuing developments with the COVID-19 global pandemic.
This decision was made following consultation with Villanova’s 2020 Conference Planning Committee and the ASACCU Board. We carefully considered the latest guidelines and information set forth by the CDC and the State of Pennsylvania, as well as limitations on travel and budget that many of our campuses face. We believe this is the best decision at this time.
While we regret not being able to convene this July, ASACCU and Villanova’s Conference Committee are delighted to invite you to “Gather Around the Table” at Villanova University for the annual conference in July 2021!
ASACCU and the Villanova Conference Committee want to thank publicly the University of Portland for graciously delaying their hosting duties to the summer of 2022. We would also like to express our deep gratitude for the many months of planning from colleagues on the Villanova Conference Planning Team. Their hard work will come to fruition as we look ahead to 2021. For 2020, everyone who already submitted payment for their conference registration will be fully refunded by early May. All individuals who have submitted program proposals will receive an email from the Conference Committee to share options for next year. Updated 2021 conference registration and programming materials for the ASACCU conference will be available by early 2021. The conference dates will be July 20-23, 2021.
Thank you for understanding. We look forward to gathering next summer at a conference that will nourish us all – both professionally and personally. May God bless you and your students, families, and loved ones, as we navigate these unchartered and scary pandemic times.
Sincerely,
The ASACCU Board & The Villanova Conference Planning Committee
