Deloitte CEO Cathy Engelbert Visits VSB, Shares Career Advice with Students

VSB was honored to host Deloitte CEO Cathy Engelbert for a visit as part of the company’s continued commitment to inspiring students. VSB has a long-standing relationship with Deloitte; in fact, Deloitte is among the top three employers of Villanova students—currently employing more than 300 alumni—and is the top partner in VSB’s alumni mentoring program. Engelbert spent her day visiting classrooms; meeting students, faculty and staff; and co-hosting a fireside chat with Dean Russell for more than 220 students.

Four Students Make VSB History by Placing First in CUIBE International Case Competition

Four VSB seniors—Brian Chueh, Erica Chuong, Chris Sweeney and Andrew Liou—out-competed 15 teams from universities across the nation to place first in the seventh annual CUIBE International Case Competition held at Northeastern University. The first-place finishers were tasked with examining a business case for Unilever and presenting their recommendations to a panel of judges in less than 48 hours.

Villanova School of Business Wins Four 2016 MarCom Awards

Members of the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals, recognized the creativity of marketing and communications professionals from more than 34 countries, selecting work that they believed set new benchmarks for the industry. Winners were selected from more than 200 categories and 6,000 entries, and VSB earned three awards and one honorable mention:
