Virtual Resources and Programs

With the uncertainties of this worldwide crisis, many of us are seeking ways to connect with each other, lift one another up, and maintain a sense of normalcy in our day to day routines. Below are just a few of the many programs and resources to do so. Remember to bookmark our Events Calendar, follow us on Facebook and Twitter, and sign up for the Nova Network for the latest information.

Livestream of University Masses

Villanova welcomes you to celebrate University Masses via livestream at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. every Sunday. This is subject to change, so please check the schedule for the latest information.

Livestream of Parish Masses

The St. Thomas of Villanova Parish also welcomes you to celebrate Parish Mass via livestream at the following times:

Prayer Requests

In partnership with the Office for Mission and Ministry, we welcome your prayer requests, for whatever intentions are in your heart. These will be sent to Campus Ministry and remembered collectively at the praying of the Rosary on Fridays so that you and your loved ones may share in the support of the Villanova community.

Praying Together

During the fall semester, the Office for Mission and Ministry will host a praying of the Rosary via Zoom every Friday at 3 p.m., beginning September 11. All are welcome to join as we pray for the intentions of Villanovans, and for the healing and safety of the whole human family. For details, see "More Prayer Opportunities" on the Catholic Worship webpage.

Become an inaugural member of our Villanova University Virtual Book Club to connect with fellow Villanovans while enjoying books that support your lifelong learning and personal growth! Selected books will span a variety of genres and topics, from memoirs to personal development. The book club will connect through a private forum where all participants can discuss the current book, access relevant articles and network with each other. Joining the virtual book club is completely free—all you need is a copy of the book to enjoy. The book club will read one book every two months, but you don’t need to commit to reading every book to join.

Do you need personalized career coaching? Access a master's-level career counselor by making your appointment via Handshake, our modern and intuitive Career Service Management Platform. All appointments will be held virtually over Zoom while campus is closed to the public.

Alumni who have graduated more than one year ago are eligible for up to three coaching sessions per academic year via Experienced Career Services (June 1-May 31) Alumni who have graduated within the past year have unlimited sessions via the University Career Center.

Career Services Initiatives

New and impactful initiatives to support current Villanova students are emerging every day. Below are three easy ways to share your experience, guidance and opportunities with those who need your help most. Please contact for any questions or concerns.

  • VU Seniors – Class of 2020 is a Group in the Nova Network where alumni, faculty and staff can share advice and resources directly with graduating seniors.

  • #HireNova - Promote your job and internship opportunities to students (and alumni!) by emailing the appropriate Career Center Industry Advisor or

  • Helping Hands: During the COVID-19 crisis, students have been asking for help from alumni via the Nova Network under four topics: Job, Internship, Industry Chat or General. We hope you will consider answering the call for support. You do not need to have access to a job opportunity! You can make an impact by writing a note of encouragement or making an introduction to a new connection in their field of interest. See the list of students asking for help by clicking “Help Students” in Nova Network’s top navigation bar.

Emergency Funds

As the impact of the public health crisis continues to evolve, many Villanova students are now facing unexpected financial burdens. The new reality of online learning, unforeseen travel expenses and uncertainty surrounding future career opportunities is creating a number of challenging circumstances for our students. If you would like to have an immediate impact on our students, please make a gift and select the area you would like to support:

  • Student Emergency Fund: Your gift will provide support to students for living expenses, technology for online learning and other necessities.

  • Graduate Student Hardship Fund: Your gift will help graduate students meet basic needs, including support for living expenses, technology set-up, resources to carry out their research remotely, and other unexpected challenges caused by the COVID-19 crisis.

  • Villanova Law Student Emergency Fund: Your gift will provide critical resources for Villanova Law students as they confront unexpected expenses related to the widespread impact of COVID-19, including technology costs for remote learning, temporary loss of income, and other basic needs.

  • Tutoring and Learning Support Services: Your gift will allow Villanova’s various academic support centers to continue to deliver the services our students need to complete their courses and learning activities online.

  • Career and Professional Development Services: Your gift will help the Career Center team expand its availability to provide virtual appointments to our students even though they are off-campus.
