Thousands of Villanovans returned to the University to celebrate their Nova pride for Homecoming Weekend in October, enjoying a family festival and Field Hockey and Football games on campus.

The Villanova University Alumni Association also honored three alumni at Homecoming. The St. Thomas of Villanova Alumni Medal, the VUAA’s highest honor, was bestowed upon Robert “Bob” Byrnes ’76 VSB former VUAA president and chair of the Annual Giving Committee for Villanova’s recently concluded comprehensive capital campaign.

The Loyalty Award was given to Frank Culotta ’64 VSB, a longtime supporter of Villanova Athletics and former board member of the Villanova University Varsity Club. The Young Alumni Medal was given to Keith Jones ’07 CLAS, anchor for NBC10 News in Philadelphia and a past recipient of the University’s annual Ethos Award, which recognizes an alumnus who serves as a role model to students.
