The process of applying for nationally competitive fellowships and scholarships is one that requires foresight and planning. So we have gathered materials here to help you in your planning and for getting you started in this process. We also have provided tips for both applicants and their recommenders as they complete their applications, compose their personal and project statements, and seek out or write letters of recommendation. Please utilize these resources to make your application as strong as possible.

In addition to examining the grants listed in our database, please check out the links to more exhaustive lists of funding. Also be sure to read our Finding Funding page as a guide. Most importantly, talk with your professors for continual advisement and support. They will by far be your most insightful and helpful resources throughout the entire resource process. Furthermore, our office own several reference books listing thousands of grants for your reading pleasure...come on in and check them out.
