Focus is a self-paced, online career and education planning tool for use by college students. It will enable you to self-assess your career-relevant personal qualities and explore career fields and major areas of study that are most compatible with your assessment results. Students who use FOCUS make better decisions about their goals and plans and learn how to self-manage their careers. Use FOCUS to help you choose or change your major and also to verify your preferences or early choice of a career field.
InterviewStream - is a customizable web based practice interview tool that helps candidates gain confidence by better knowing and preparing themselves for interviews. Students can conduct self-assessments or share their answers with a counselor for more personalized feedback. Technology requirements are : an internet connection, a Mac or PC and a webcam. The purpose of the Bartley Business Information Center is to provide students, faculty, and staff of the Villanova School of Business with access to the rapidly changing world of information. While most of the services are available via the Internet, the Bartley Business Information Center is also a physical location within Bartley Hall. Staffed by the Business Liaison Team from Falvey Memorial Library, the BBiC also provides person to person reference and consultative services to students and faculty. Walk in meetings are welcome and appointments are available as well.
Falvey Library contains numerous directories, workbooks, and professional journals, including the Philadelphia Business Journal, a weekly publication with business intelligence about our region. The Business Journal publishes 39 additional city business papers which are also available with job listings and local business directories.
