The Campus Recruiting Program is a successful and effective service that offers employers the opportunity to recruit high-caliber and talented Villanova students and interview them on campus for full-time and summer internship opportunities. Fall recruitment begins in September and continues through early December. Spring Recruitment begins in early February through mid-April. See our Recruiting Calendar for complete details.
Interviews are scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Each schedule/room allows an employer to interview up to 12 students for 30 minute interviews, 9 students for 45 minute interviews or 7 students for 60minute interviews. Special scheduling requests can be arranged.
Schedule your company’s visit(s) by contacting the Recruiting Coordinator, Shayla McElroy at 610-519-4065 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Confirmation information will be emailed once a date has been scheduled and will include pertinent information and deadlines, as well as directions and instructions on using Handshake for your recruiting needs.
Resumes are bundled and e-mailed on the following morning of the resume deadline. Approximately seven days are given to review and select the students to be interviewed. Skype interviews can also be arranged for students selected to interview who may be studying abroad. Any changes to the interview schedule needs to be communicated to the Recruiting Coordinator before students begin signing up for their interview time. Completed interview schedules are sent prior to your interview date.
It is helpful to know the names of the recruiter(s) who will be conducting the interviews since they will be greeted by a staff member and assigned to a specific interview room in Garey Hall, Suite 117.
Employers are also asked to offer flexibility in scheduling off-campus second-round interviews by proving an alternative date if the original date interferes with a student’s academic schedule or another first-round interview on campus.
Handshake is Villanova's career management system where employers can post jobs, request interview schedules on campus and connect with Villanova students and alumni.
