Provides Software Support Information and Software Purchase Information for the University.

Included Services

  • Operating System Support (Windows 7, Mac X, OXS, iOS) and Standard Image Application Support. Providing software support for a wide variety of end point computing devices.
  • Non Supported Software Support. Avenues to pursue when support is required for non-standard software.
  • Non Supported Software Purchase For software purchasing not included on the University Computer Image please contact Aprompt Software
  • Service Description: Microsoft Home Use Program (HUP) Under the Home Use Program (HUP), Villanova employees who are users of qualifying applications at work (e.g. Office Enterprise) may acquire a licensed copy of the corresponding Home Use Program software (e.g. Office Enterprise) to install and use on a home computer. Students and non-Employees do not qualify for purchase under Microsoft’s licensing agreement.
  • SPSS: SPSS is available for download by Villanova Faculty, Staff, and Students on Villanova issued laptops only.  For more information and to download the product click here.
  • Maple: Maple is available for download by Villanova Faculty, Staff, and Students on Villanova issued laptops only.  For more information and to download the product click here.
