Provide Hardware Support, Services and Purchase Options to the University

Included Services

Hardware Services

  • Provides on-site Hardware Services and Support, Asset Administration and Printing Support Connecting computer to the VUAD and printers.
  • Delivery of computers, printer and other technology hardware ordered for the university
  • Oversee and manage all phases of faculty and staff hardware refreshes.
  • Pick-up and recycling of old and unserviceable printers, desktops, laptops, servers and monitors.

Computer Equipment - Dell

  • Provide warranty break - fix service for supported platforms.

  • Provide warranty break - fix service for supported platforms.

Printing - XSE

  • Provide XSE Cannon Printers in locations designated as common printing areas with release stations utilizing the Wildcard to swipe access at the print release station to print your document (s).  
  • Provide information to help departments make informed choices regarding printer equipment

New Employee Requests

  • Maintain a form that allows new employees to complete a single form to begin the process of receiving accounts, systems, and services from UNIT from a single location

Mobile Device Deployment

  • The smartphone models, which are supported by Villanova, combine technology such as email, mobile phone, web browser and calendar. All purchases must be approved by the Vice President or Dean to whom the user reports to before they can be ordered.
