What is it?

NBC Learn is a rich, dynamic, and innovative resource that provides thousands of historic news reports, current events stories, original content, primary source documents, and other digital media specifically designed to help teach and engage students of all levels and abilities.

Search, browse, share, and embed over 12,000 videos from the NBC News film and video archives.  The videos are updated daily, mapped to state standards, and downloadable.

NBC Learn Higher Ed is a collection of more than 21,000 videos, documents and images that can be incorporated into lectures and online teaching materials. NBC Learn is updated daily with the latest current events.  NBC Learn representative discussed how faculty can access NBC Learn multimedia archives, make those resources available to their students, and use curriculum services available to faculty. Participants in the session saw how to search, download, and embed videos and hear best practices in using the resource in courses.

NBC Curriculum Alignment Service

To help you find relevant NBC Learn multimedia resources for your course, NBC Learn now offers a complimentary curriculum alignment service so you can determine the resources that best fit your course.  Simply email your syllabi or other materials to account.management@nbcuni.com, NBC Learn will provide recommendations of NBC Learn videos/documents/images that best fit your course.
