The Mission of the Division of Student Life at Villanova University is to provide programs, activities and services that advance the development of students on all levels—intellectually, emotionally, spiritually, culturally, socially, and physically—within a learning community committed to Catholic values and the spirit of St. Augustine.

Student Services

  • Study Skills Program
    The Study Skills Program, available within the Learning Support Center, is designed to help students achieve academic success.
  • Gay Straight Coalition
    The Gay Straight Coalition is a group of students, faculty, and staff working together to build upon the Augustinian concept of community to foster understanding of sexual orientation within a Catholic Judeo-Christian environment.
  • Pregnancy Support Services
    Villanova's Pregnancy Support Services make every effort to provide any student who becomes pregnant with a supportive environment that assures caring, non-judgmental, professional assistance and support in continuing the pregnancy.
  • Legal Resource Services
    Our Legal Resource Services assist Villanova students, especially when moving off-campus, with consultation regarding landlord-tenant relationships and other legal issues.
  • Sexual Harassment Policy/Procedures
    It is the University's Sexual Harassment policy to maintain an employment and educational atmosphere that is free of sexual harassment.

    The Office of Learning Support Services serves students with learning disabilities, other neurologically based disorders, and those disabled by chronic illnesses.

Student Support

Multicultural Affairs
The Center for Multicultural Affairs Outreach and Diversity Initiatives works to engage the greater Villanova community in programs, events, and processes of personal development involving issues of global and domestic differences.

Office of the Dean of Students
The Office of the Dean of Students is a resource for student concerns, supports students in all aspects of their lives, and assists students in their development as individuals and as members of the community.

Office of International Students Services
The Office of International Student Services offers a myriad of services to international students. Our staff provides assistance with such services as immigration rights and responsibilities; educational, social and personal counseling; cultural adjustment issues; and campus and community activities.

Office of Disability Services
The Office of Disability Services is the primary office with specialized knowledge and experience in physical disability issues. ODS also advises faculty on the policies and procedures relevant to students with disabilities and acts as a general information and referral service on disability issues.
