The Villanova Student Life Co-Curricular Experience (SLICE) program is a series of programs, events and learning experiences that will help you make the most of your Villanova experience. SLICE is designed to encourage your participation in wide range of activities that will help you gain experience, knowledge and skills that will prepare you for the ever-changing global environment. The SLICE program seeks to advance the development of the whole student – mind, body and spirit – outside of the formal academic setting. Indeed, the SLICE program seeks to foster "Excellence Beyond the Classroom."
What is SLICE?
Villanova offers many quality learning experiences outside of the classroom and the SLICE program provides a way for students to make sense of all of these experiences. Based on the learning goals of Villanova University’s Division of Student Life, the SLICE program is comprised of six dimensions for students to explore and investigate as a way of developing their own skills and abilities. These dimensions are:

Each learning dimension has three core requirements and three electives which must be completed. A customized software program will allow students to track and monitor their progress towards completing the program.
What is the SLICE Transcript?
Every student enrolled in the SLICE program will have access to a transcript of the various programs and activities which he or she has completed. By developing a comprehensive record of involvement in outside the classroom activities, students can use this important document to draft the best possible résumés, cover letters, and personal statements on graduate school applications and to perform well during interviews.
