Transfer Student Housing Options

Villanova University is unable to offer transfer students on-campus housing at this time. The Office for Residence Life maintains a web page with off-campus housing information, where you will find a list of apartment complexes in the area, a database that may help you find a roommate, and other resources.  Please note that this most of the resources on this page are only viewable to Villanova students who are logged into the web site.  Transfer students will receive their log in information shortly after their deposit has been received.

The Office for Residence Life will also maintain a wait list for transfer students who desire on-campus housing.   There is no guarantee that on-campus housing will be available via the wait list.  Wait list decisions will not be made before late July/early August  (after the freshman class is finalized and all guaranteed students are housed). As a result, we recommend that all transfer students explore other off-campus housing options because of the uncertainty of the wait list.

If you wish to be placed on the housing wait list, please contact Anne Marie Pisani in the Admissions Office after you have made your admission deposit. The Admissions Office will contact us with that information and you will be placed on our wait-list.  You do not need to complete any other forms or application. Wait list consideration will be given in the order that the post-deposit requests were received.

Because of the large number of guaranteed residents seeking on-campus housing each year, transfer students who are offered and accept on-campus housing will not be eligible to participate in subsequent housing selection processes.  Students who desire on-campus housing in subsequent years may request to be placed on a housing wait list.
