The residence halls have standard twin size mattresses measuring 36" by 76" by 7". Students should purchase standard twin-sized sheets.
Residence Life has a limited supply of "extra-long" or 36" by 80" by 7" mattresses, which are available upon request and based on need. Requests should be limited to those over 6' 2" in height. These mattresses require extra-long twin-sized sheets.
Students who would like to request and extra-long mattress should email caitlin.russell@villanova.edu. Please include the following information with your request:
- full name
- student ID number
- reason for the request
All requests must be submitted via email for record keeping purposes. Decisions regarding the placement of extra-long mattresses will be made in late July. All students who request an extra-long mattress will receive an email in August, via their University email account, informing them of the status of their request.
