We are excited to welcome parents and families to campus for a variety of exciting activities and events. We hope to see you then! Please explore the links above to see the updated Parents Weekend 2016 Schedule of Events!
Parents Weekend is a special time when parents of new students, and not so new students, get to visit the campus with the start of a new semester. For your planning purposes, Parents Weekend Events begin with early bird sessions on Friday afternoon and conclude Sunday afternoon.
Parents Weekend sessions are both engaging and informative - a true highlight to kick off the weekend. Topics include campus culture, our resources and services as well as a glimpse into the academic world of faculty research. This year on Friday evening, there will be a special session sponsored by the College Republicans and the College Democrats.
The day begins with a welcome from our President and continues with more informational and educational sessions. After lunch, be sure to catch the 1 p.m. Men’s Soccer game against Butler at the Higgins Soccer Complex on West Campus. At 3:30 p.m. the Wildcats Football team tackle Towson in the Villanova Stadium. The day will wrap up at the Ellipse with our Family Fest, celebrating Villanova’s 175-year history. This night will feature our student a cappella groups, as well as other entertainment and refreshments! All are welcome to attend the Family Festival celebrating Villanova's 175th Anniversary. Register for the Famliy Festival by visiting villanovatix.com.
The time-honored tradition of the Senior Breakfast promises to kick off the last day of Parents Weekend in a special way. Following the Senior Breakfast is the Parents Weekend Liturgy in the Pavilion at 11 a.m. Refreshments with the Villanova community will follow.
