FAQs for Orientation Arrival

When should I arrive?

Move-in for New Students is Wednesday, August 21, 2013 between 11:00 am and 6:00 pm. You will receive a more specific arrival schedule based on the first letter of your last name over the summer. Please report directly to your assigned residence hall.  Early check-in will not be permitted. Please be patient as we expect heavy traffic, especially during the first few hours of check-in. You may experience 1-2 hour delays in the Main Lot. We appreciate your patience during Check-In.

Where should we park when we arrive?

Once you drop off your belongings at your residence hall, you will be directed to an appropriate parking lot by the Department of Public Safety. It is vital to move your car once it has been unloaded. This will help decrease the wait time for families on a very busy day!
