Women of Color Luncheon

Women of Color

During the winter of 2002, two colleagues – Nancy C. Lee and Linda Coleman saw the need to create a scholarship for underrepresented women on Villanova’s campus.  This scholarship was designed to aid them with college expenses.  Now in its 10th year (one year was cancelled), the Committee has expanded as well as the number of scholarships given and its attendees.

Recipients of the scholarship are nominated based on the following:

  • Be involved in the Villanova Community
  • Be in good academic and disciplinary standing
  • Must have a financial need
  • Committed to service

You are cordially invited to attend the 2016 Villanova University Women of Color Scholarship Luncheon on Friday, April 29, 2016. The luncheon theme is “Live Your Legacy Now: Ten Simple Steps to Find Your Passion and Change the World”. The luncheon will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Villanova Room, Connelly Center, Villanova University, and is open to all who may be interested.
