While the big aim of the partnership is college awareness for the students at GHS, GHS and VU are committed to serving the whole student. A huge part of being successful in applying to and being active in college is leadership skills. Through the Freshman2Freshman program, 15-30 GHS freshmen partner with a VU freshman. They attend events together throughout their four years at their respective schools.
This year, students will enrich their leadership skills while forming a supportive relationship with each other. We are hoping this program will prepare freshmen at both institutions to be successful in school and after graduation.
