Germantown High School - Villanova University Partnership
Germantown High School has been partnered with Villanova University through the Office of the Mayor and Phillygoes2college to support GHS students in the college application/decision process.
College Immersion
The Germantown-Villanova College Immersion Program connects communities and supports high school students in their college application processes. Germantown and Villanova students will be invited to attend enriched academic and social functions at the high school as well as at the university. At Germantown, students will attend workshops designed to disambiguate the academic and social processes involved in applying to and eventually attending college. At Villanova, students will go to a real college class, hear invited speakers, workshop their Common Application Essays with professional writing tutors, learn about spending a semester outside America, form relationships with ‘Nova students, and cheer on the Wildcats at a men’s basketball game!
