Since 1979, when Special Olympics first came to Villanova as a soccer tournament, the spirit and passion has been alive and growing on campus! The first Fall Festival was held in 1989, and in the ensuing 23 years, our event has grown to be the second largest annual event for Special Olympics Pennsylvania, and the largest student-run program of its kind in the world!
Over 450 Villanova Alumni have taken part in making the Fall Festival a success, as well as tens of thousands of volunteers and athletes bringing their passion and skills to Villanova University. Please use the below links to explore the history of our prestigious organization.
