"As someone who is personally a strong advocate of health, I want to convey that message to my students as well. After meeting with the staff of the Office of Health Promotion and sharing my thoughts, they developed a set of presentations for my students that accomplished such an objective. One such presentation focused on their SPICES (Spiritual, Physical, Intellectual, Cultural, Emotional, and Social) program, which gives an excellent overview of the key dimensions of health and the variety of services offered by the Office. I found the program well designed and executed, and I believe it encouraged many students to start thinking about the impact of their choices on their health and well-being."
