Immunizations
The Student Health Center provides routine immunizations such as Tetanus, Diphtheria and Hepatitis A and B. In certain circumstances, the Student Health Center offers other immunizations. Please call the Student Health Center at (610) 519-4070 with any questions. Students are financially responsible for the cost of the immunization.

The Student Health Center provides ongoing immunotherapy injections for students who have previously had immunotherapy treatment. Students must present in advance to drop off their serum before they can schedule to receive their allergy shots. The student must also give to the Health Center signed orders from the allergist, and an administration schedule. Allergy shots are given by appointment only and when a physician is on premises. Allergy shots are administered free of charge to Villanova students.
Insurance Information
All students need health insurance throughout their term of enrollment at Villanova. All domestic undergraduate matriculated students, all international students, and all law school students must either enroll in the school sponsored plan with United Health or waive out of the University sponsored plan by showing proof of comparable coverage. All domestic non-matriculating undergraduate students, graduate students taking six or more credit hours, and Ph.D thesis continuation students are also eligible to purchase this coverage. For more information regarding the school sponsored plan, and the enrollment/waiver process, please visit the website www.firststudent.com.
In some cases, students may need to be referred to an off local travel medicine provider in the community.
Women’s Health
The nurse practitioners at the Student Health Center provide women’s health services such as annual gynecologic exams, evaluation and treatment of infection, sexually transmitted infection testing and treatment, and pregnancy testing. Services are available by appointment
