The Delta Eta Chapter was founded on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, on February 11th 1952. The charter was established as the Philadelphia Citywide chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi, comprising of serveral higher educational institutions, including Drexel University, Villanova University, LaSalle University, and Beaver College, which was later renamed Arcadia University.
Today the Delta Eta Chapter enjoys over 50 years of achievement on these campuses, holding annual events such as: The Annual Crimson & Cream Scholarship Ball; Kappa Week; Nupe Week; and many other events. Throughout the Northeastern Province, the Delta Eta Chapter has come to be regarded as a leader among leaders, setting the tone for what can only be described as promising future for not only Kappa Alpha Psi, but for the city, the state and world. The impact of these future leaders will resonate through the history of Kappa Alpha Psi and the world for years to come.
