Temporary Disabilities
Broken bones, surgery and other unexpected mishaps may cause a student to be temporarily disabled. Please follow the guidelines listed in the Temporary Disabilities page.
Suggestions on Teaching
When teaching a student with any disability, remember, you are the model for the students in your class in how you respond to the student with the disability.
- Students with chronic illness or pain
- Students with physical disabilities
- Students who are blind or have a visual disabilities
- Students who are deaf or hearing impaired
