"Leveling Las Vegas” - April 7, 2014
Why are we fundraising?
Casino Night is a chance for much needed funds to be raised that will be directed towards new projects and innovations in LEVEL. In partnership with the Office of Disability Services, LEVEL contributes to the Father William Atkinson Endowment to help provide financial assistance to Villanova students that are differently-abled. Our goal is to allow Level the opportunity to expand its role in Villanova’s greater community through activities, such as trips or service projects, for members of LEVEL and Students registered with the Office of Disability Services.
“Leveling Las Vegas” is our annual Spring event that everyone can take part in, allowing students who are differently-abled to enjoy an exciting evening alongside their friends and peers. The evening will be a chance to raise awareness through an activity that is entertaining for all. Playing alongside those who are differently-abled creates the opportunity for interaction with all types of individuals. The themes of inclusion and connection that Level is trying to encourage and ignite on and off campus will have an opportunity to flourish at our event.
Villanova’s Pavilion is decorated like a casino. There will be Poker, Roulette, Texas Hold ‘em, Black Jack, Carnival games, Wii games, Bingo, a photo booth, and more. There will be live music, free food, and continuous prizes.
How it works...
Instead of playing for money you will be able to trade chips in for raffle tickets and put your tickets in for tons of cool prizes ranging from a flat screen TV, to an iPad, to gift cards to local restaurants.
