The University Staff Council sponsors several events throughout the year:
- Christmas Party
- Community Picnic
- Bread and Soup Lunch during Hunger Awareness Week
- Midnight Shift Recognition Team Events
- Distinguished Service Award Presentation
- Above & Beyond Award Presentations
- Work Process Improvement Award Presentations
Elections for new members occur every two years. Election information will be sent to Administrator of each area represented to announce new members should be elected before January 2013 meeting. Details to follow.
Read Article V of the Charter where it explains the Election of new members. Representatives are limited to two consecutive two year terms.
Soup Kitchen Treats
The University serves at the St. Agatha/St. James Soup Kitchen on Wednesday evenings throughout the year. We have been supplying 120 individually wrapped treats to the Soup Kitchen for many years. Each department volunteers to supply treats for 1 or 2 weeks per semester. Mary Lou Glenn, Administrative Assistant for the College of Engineering, along with the Campus Ministry office volunteer their time to help organize the allocation and delivery of the soup kitchen treats.
