Important Notice regarding student packages
Beginning Fall 2016, Mail Services will no longer accept packages for non-resident students who do not have an on campus VU box. Packages that arrive for non resident students will be returned to sender upon receipt.

Mail Services is committed to assuring mail and packages addressed to on-campus resident students get to their final destination the same day they arrive on campus, provided the package arrives on campus before noon.
Sending Mail and Packages to Campus- For better and more reliable service, we recommend using UPS or Fedex to ship packages to campus.
Additionally, it is imperative that all packages are addressed correctly using the standards below. Upon delivery to campus, the staff of Mail Services will scan each package and send you an email notification that the package is ready to be picked up.
Mail Services is not responsible for packages that are not addressed in accordance with the addressing standards below
2 LOCATIONS : KENNEDY HALL AND ST. MARY'S HALL
All Main campus and South campus resident students are assigned mailboxes in Kennedy Hall. West campus resident students are assigned boxes in St Mary's Hall. Both locations accept all mail, parcel, and express deliveries for students.
The Kennedy Hall location sells stamps and envelopes and can ship packages & mail. Both Wildcard and cash are accepted
Students must bring their Wildcard or driver's license to pick up their packages.
Students will receive a phone call when easily identifiable perishable items such as fruit and flowers are received for them, if a phone number has been provided.
Packages are not available for pick up until you receive an email confirmation from email@example.com
Package and mail return policy
Packages that are unclaimed for more than 30 days will be returned to sender.
Mail Services is not responsible for packages that are not addressed in accordance with the addressing standards below.
Mail and packages that are left after students leave for the semester will be forwarded to the home address on record.
First class mail will be forwarded to your home address during the summer.

Mail box rentals are available to registered students who live off campus for an annual fee of $50.00
It is very important that packages are addressed correctly to assure proper processing and delivery.
