Can’t make it to the gym and dorm's too small for working out? Take a study break and do a few simple exercises to keep your body active!

Chair Dips:
Use a sturdy chair for support. Place your hands firmly on the front of the seat. Slowly lower your body while bending your arms to a 90 degree angle. Repeat facing the chair (like an inclined push up) and facing away from the chair (working the back of your arm) for a complete upper body workout.

Sitting Crunches:
Work out your abs by pulling your legs up to your chest while sitting in a chair.

Stand and Sit:
Work your lower body by standing erect then down into a squatting/sitting position as low as the height of your chair. Repeat and change intensities by adding weight, like holding a stack of books.

Stairmaster:
Walk up and down the dormitory stairs a few minutes each day for simple cardio workouts. Bring some books to change intensities. Why not read while you’re at it?
