Any Time Plans

Any Time 7 Day
Any Time plans offer no limits to the number of times you can swipe into one of our three resident dining halls throughout the day. Come and go as you please.  The Any Time 7 plan also allows you to use some meals as MPEs in retail locations.  The number of MPEs per week varies, see "what's available" for details.

Board Plans

21 plan, 14 plan, 10 plan and Commuter Plan
Board plans are meal plans which include a certain number of meals per week. Every Monday morning, these meal plans reset to their default amount of meals; meals cannot be transferred from week to week.

Block Plan

100 plan
Block plans are meal plans which include a set number of meals to be used over the course of the semester along with a generous amount of food points to provide great flexibility. These meal plans are lower in price than the board plans and are tailored to students that have other options for food such as full kitchens or may travel off campus over the weekends. The block plan requires you to plan out and budget your meal usage to last throughout the semester. The 100 block plan averages 6 meals per week over a semester. Please note, unused meals do not carry over to the next semester.

Meal Period

Meal periods are defined in the meal plan system and are important to plans like the commuter plan (valid during lunch/brunch only) and MPE acceptance.  Meal periods are also used to determine MPE values. The meal periods are:

Meal Periods
Breakfast 7:30 am - 11:00 am
Lunch / Brunch 11:00 am - 4:10 pm
Dinner 4:11 pm - 8:30 pm
Late Night 8:30 pm - 2:00 am

Meals

Meals are the main components of all of our meal plans. You may use a "meal" to gain admittance to any of our all-you-care-to-eat dining halls. MPEs allow you to use a meal in our retail locations. Please be aware that you are only allowed to use your meals on yourself.
Note: Any time a meal is used as an MPE or in a dining hall, the meal is deducted from the meal plan's total balance.

Resident Dining Halls

Resident Dining Halls are also known as our all-you-care-to-eat dining halls. There are three on campus (Dougherty Hall on Main Campus, The Court @ Donahue on South Campus, and St. Mary's Hall on West Campus). To gain access to these halls, meal plan participants may swipe a meal or guest meal. You may also use cash, points, Novabucks, or Visa/MasterCard to gain admittance at the following rates:

Residence Dining Halls
Cash Entry Prices 2022-2023
Breakfast $12.50
Lunch / Brunch $12.50
Dinner $16.50

NOTE: No food may be brought into or taken out of any of our all-you-care-to-eat resident dining halls.

Retail Operations

Meal Plan participants are also able to visit our Retail locations. Using an MPE in these operations allows you to pay for only the prepared food that you order. Most retail operations accept MPE; please click here for more details. Holy Grounds locations, Convenience stores, and eateries such as the Belle Air Terrace and Cafe Nova are considered retail operations. Follow this link to view all retail operations on campus.
