Personal Training


Personal training sessions are available to Villanova students, faculty and staff as well as “Friends of Villanova”.  Individuals must present a valid wildcard, with access to the University fitness center, in order to purchase personal training sessions.  Individuals interested in purchasing personal training packages will be required to meet with a Recreation Department representative in order to purchase their package and complete a fitness self-assessment.  Additionally, each participant will be required to sign an informed consent and waiver and make their payment, in full, at the time of registration/purchase. You will be asked for your health insurance information at registration.  Please bring your insurance card with you to registration.

Fitness center orientation and introduction to equipment (approx. 45 min)
One-hour personal training sessions *
Half-hour personal training sessions *
One-hour group training sessions* $35 for the first person, $20 per additional person
* Individuals purchasing training sessions will be required to purchase at least three sessions.  Each purchase will come with a free body composition test (if desired).

Meet our Personal Trainers

After registration, each client will be assigned to a personal trainer based on mutual availability.  Clients will be contacted by their trainer, within two business days of registration, to discuss the client’s goals and coordinate meeting times and dates. 

Glen Myhre (Available Mondays-Fridays 7AM-12PM)

Glen Myhre

Glen Myhre is an ISSA (International Sport Sciences Association) certified Master Trainer with 19 years experience in the field. During this time, he has worked with people from all walks of life, all ages and fitness levels. Glen specializes in program development and strives to create workouts that are vigorous and rewarding, with constant focus on his client's goals. He has competed in power lifting and bodybuilding, and boasts a 20-plus year career as an internationally recognized professional wrestler and trainer of prospective wrestling talent. 


Mika Popa (Available Mondays- Fridays 9AM-3PM)

As a Certifed Personal Trainer, Mika specializes in the areas of weight loss, resistance training, circuit training, functional training, custom training routines and life-changing counseling. Mika believes that fitness is the cornerstone to overall health and wellness and that getting fit is the first step to a new and healthy lifestyle. Her mission is to help clients achieve their fitness goals. With more than 20 years of athletic and fitness experience, Mika has a Master's degree in Physical Education and has been nationally certified since 2003 by the American Council on Exercise (ACE).

Meghan has over ten years of experience in various areas of fitness.  Her enthusiasm gets people moving to become stronger and healthier. She holds two credentials from the highly regarded National Strength & Conditioning Association: CPT (Certified Personal Trainer) and CSCS (Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist). She has experience training individuals of all sizes, ages & fitness levels at Platoon Fitness and as a personal trainer. She also spent seven years as the assistant coach for Villanova Women's Cross Country and Track & Field, during which the program garnered numerous conference team titles and two national team titles.  Her background in gym settings, home settings, bootcamps, and collegiate athletics allows for a lot of versatility in training.

Cash, Checks (made out to Villanova University), and WildCard will be the accepted forms of payment.  All sessions are non-refundable and will expire 6 months after date of purchase.  Sessions can only be redeemed by the purchaser.
