ORA Policies

The Office of Research Administration, a unit of the Provost's Office, is charged with administering research-related grant and contract activity so as to assure that the ethical and legal interests of the University and the sponsors are understood, appropriately funded, and completed.

This page will be the repository for ORA policies that apply to the research activity of Villanova University personnel, students, animal and human subjects.

  • If you have completed a previous year disclosure, please go to: COI Risk Manager and choose COI Risk Manager from the drop down. Log in using your Villanova username and password.  If this is your first time completing a disclosure, please email resadmin@villanova.edu with your Villanova username. You will then receive an acknowledgement email for your initial login. 
  • Choose non-PHS if not funded by the Public Health Service.  PHS agencies are listed here.

The Intellectual Property Policy Board (IPPB) serves as an advisory committee to the Associate Provost on intellectual property issues. The IPPB advises the AVP regarding (i) the application, interpretation, implementation and administration of this policy, (ii) the modification or development of policy and procedure and (iii) the resolution of disputes (e.g., concerning ownership of specific intellectual property).
