Learning Support Services (LSS) provides academic support services and workshops for undergraduate and graduate students at Villanova University. 

Workshops and one-on-one academic coaching are available in university-relevant skills such as time management, study strategies, academic reading, learning styles, test-taking, and test anxiety.

Students of all abilities, including successful students who want to enhance their academic skills and students who are struggling, are welcome to use these services.  There is no extra charge for these services and they are open to all registered Villanova students.

Chemistry and Physics Homework Help

Physics  and Chemistry tutors will be available to provide homework help for first year classes. Come prepared to do your homework problems with the added resource of tutor availability if needed.

Location: South Campus Dining Hall (The Court at Donohue)

Date: Begins Monday, September 11th.

Times:

  • Chemistry Homework Help - Monday and Wednesday 9 to 11 pm
  • Physics Homework Help - Mondays, 9 to 11 pm

No.  Homework Help is group tutoring focusing on first year Chemistry and Physics courses.

I would really like some one-on-one tutoring. Can you provide me with a private tutor?

No, LSS does not have private one-on-one tutors available. Your best bet would be to ask your professor or the Chemistry or Physics departments if they are aware of any private tutoring.

Do I need to make an appointment to attend Chemistry/Physics Homework Help?

No. Please make sure you sign in when you arrive, though. This is how we track how many students attend.

What should I bring with me?

Please bring your books, homework problems, and any other materials you may need. The tutors do not have class materials.

What if the University is closed or closes early?

Homework Help is only available if the University is open. If the University has a weather closure or closes early, Homework Help is cancelled.
