Welcome, prospective and incoming students! On this page, you'll find Honors admission and scholarship information. Please browse our website to learn more about Honors, such as our curriculum and freshman cohort program, opportunities for leadership and international study, and resources available to our students.
Admission to the Program:
Students interested in Honors should apply to Villanova by November 1 to be considered for the Program. Applicants interested in being considered for the Program must indicate this on the member section of the Common Application. Students admitted to Villanova University are invited to the Honors Program within a week of their acceptance to the University. Those not initially invited may request to be added to the waiting list for consideration should space be available after the May 1, 2018 enrollment deadline.
The hallmark of the Honors experience at Villanova is small seminar classes in which students receive a high degree of personal attention from an outstanding faculty. For these reasons the Honors community at Villanova remains necessarily small. This year’s applicant pool was the most competitive in the University’s history. Given the competitive applicant pool and the size of the Honors Program, sometimes we cannot accommodate all exceptional students.
At this time, the Honors Program incoming Class of 2021 is now full.
For prospective students interested in scholarships, please consult University Admission's scholarship information. Many students accepted to the Honors Program are also selected as Villanova Scholars. The deadline to be considered for this scholarship is November 1.
Students may also be interested in the Presidential Scholarship, a scholarship that includes full-tuition, room and board, meal plan, and textbook costs. Students must be nominated for this scholarship by their high school or recognized community organization. The nomination deadline is December 1.
More detailed information on these, and other scholarship opportunities, can be found through CURF or on the University Admission page.
