Kasia McLellan, a senior computer science major received a VURF travel grant to present her research at the National Conference for Undergraduate Research in 2017.
On her experience:
"I learned a lot at the national conference for undergraduate research. It was exciting to have the opportunity to share our research with other students and professors. I felt that I learned a lot about presenting and got to network with other students with similar interests. I also enjoyed the opportunity to see a new city, and I had the chance to see the national museum of civil rights, which was a very powerful and moving opportunity."
