The mission of the Villanova University Women of Color Scholarship Committee is to provide needed scholarship funds to underrepresented female students who exemplify the ideals and the true spirit of Villanova University through their strong academic performance and service.

Since it's establishment in 2002, more than 23 scholarships have been awarded to some phenomenal and deserving underrepresented women who distinguish themselves through excellent in and out of the classroom. In order to continue this important work, the scholarship committee solicits continued participation and sponsorship.

The Center for Access, Success, and Achievement at Villanova University will host the annual Women of Color Scholarship Luncheon on Friday May 5th. The event will feature keynote speaker: Colleen Kelly Howard, executive director of Girls on the Run, Philadelphia. Proceeds from the luncheon will be used to award scholarships to deserving underrepresented female students at Villanova.
