Announcing the Part-Time Studies 2015 Bisk Scholarship Winner

Bisk Scholarship Winner

The College of Professional Studies is thrilled to congratulate Brian Donegan, a part-time studies student pursuing his B.S. in Business Administration with a focus in Finance. Brian received this award after demonstrating academic potential and financial need. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be matriculated students who maintain a GPA of at least 3.0 and who must take at least 6 credits per semester. Brian was selected out of a competitive pool of about 15 students to receive the scholarship by the Director and Associate Director of Part-Time Studies, Mary Bustamante and Brandon Dorfman.

Brian has been in the program for two years and has had a positive experience at Villanova as an adult student, saying “The scheduling is very conducive to accommodating my work schedule. Also, I’ve found the classes I’ve taken so far to be interesting and useful for gaining practical knowledge in my course of study.”

Currently working as a courier, Brian hopes to shift his career into the financial sector either as an equity trader or perhaps a financial planner. As he continues with his coursework, he hopes his exact direction will become clearer. One thing he plans to do is take advantage of some of the campus organizations, specifically the Villanova Equity Society, by joining this fall.

Congratulations to Brian and we wish him all the best in his Villanova education and his promising career upon graduation!
