Please note that other area colleges will be holding graduation ceremonies during this same time period. Traffic conditions will be congested. Guests are urged to arrive early and to car pool or use public transportation.

Public Transportation - SEPTA

We highly recommend this convenient way to travel to campus during Commencement weekend.  Guests should consider using the R5 Paoli/Thorndale Regional Rail service to Villanova station or the R100 High Speed Trolley service to the Stadium or Villanova stops. UBER

If you plan to use Uber or carpool to campus for Commencement weekend, the designated Uber drop- off and pick-up location for Friday, May 18 and Saturday, May 19 there are two drop off locations. One drop-off point is the Lancaster Avenue entrance of the I-1 lot and the other is the S-3 lot.  If you use Uber, a limited number of $5 discounts are available for the weekend. Code and link will be available in April. 

Commencement Weekend Parking- PASSES REQUIRED

Each graduate will have the opportunity to sign up for two parking passes on the Graduation Fair form.  The parking passes will be for a designated parking lot and will be distributed at the Graduation Fair on May 2, 2018 in the Connelly Center, Villanova Room (for undergraduate students) and via the online order for Caps and Gowns (for graduate students).  More information about the Graduation Fair – and information for those that can’t attend- is located here.  One of the two parking passes that each graduate receives can be returned in exchange for an accessible parking lot (Lot A-2) at the Graduation Fair.  For more information about accessible parking, please see the details below. 

On campus parking will be limited and every vehicle must have Commencement parking pass to enter campus on Friday afternoon and Saturday. Parking passes are also required for the Radnor Financial Center and a shuttle service will be available. 

Accessible Parking- PASSES REQUIRED

Any graduate whose guests require accessible parking may access the reserved parking behind the University Stadium (Lot A-2). Eligible persons include those with a state-issued handicapped license plate or handicapped placard.   A graduate may exchange one of the designated lot parking passes (they receive 2 passes for a designated lot) for a pass to the accessible parking lot (Lot A-2).  Graduates should indicate if an accible parking pass is needed on the Graduation Fair form so the pass is available for pick-up.  The license plate must be on the vehicle or the placard displayed and easily visible to the parking attendants when approaching the parking lot.  Please enter through the Galberry entrance off of Lancaster Ave.  Once parked, hosts and golf carts will be available to assist with transport to the Commencement ceremonies. 

Drop Off Areas

For those guests that may need some extra assistance, each ceremony has a designated drop off area that may be utilized. The driver may drop guests off at these areas and then process to their designated parking lot.  Hosts and golf carts will be available at the designated drop off area to assist with transport to the Commencement ceremonies.
