Part I of the Senior Survey is a survey that includes questions about your Villanova experience, gains you have made through your undergraduate education, and your participation in selected activities. By providing this information, you will contribute valuable insights to help Villanova gauge our progress and improve where needed.
Part I of the Senior Survey is being administered by Villanova’s Office of Planning and Institutional Research (OPIR). In late March, graduating seniors will receive an email from OPIR (which may appear as (firstname.lastname@example.org) with a link that will take you directly to the Senior Survey, Part I. Graduating seniors are asked to complete the survey as soon as possible after receiving the email notification. All responses to the Senior Survey will remain confidential. Graduating Seniors who have not completed the survey through the initial email will receive follow-up reminders with the following text as the subject: “A reminder to complete Part I, Senior Survey.”
The online survey will be available until (date TBD). After that time, Part I will only be available as a paper survey. Those who did not complete the survey online will be asked to complete a paper copy of the survey at Cap & Gown distribution at the Graduation Fair.
Part II - The Senior Survey: Career Center, Placement Statistics
Part II of the Senior Survey is administered online each year by the Career Center to learn more about the career outcomes and internship experiences of Villanova graduates. Specifically, the survey is designed to identify the numbers of students who are employed, continuing education or seeking their next destination within six months of graduation as well as information about internships completed while studying at Villanova. This survey also assists the Career Center in assessing the initial salary levels offered in various fields and in various cities. This information is helpful to the Career Center staff in counseling and advising students and alumni, and provides valuable insight for faculty, students and parents about the wide range of opportunities available to Villanova students.
Graduating Seniors are asked to complete Part II of the Senior Survey online prior to Cap and Gown distribution. Follow up surveys will be conducted up to six months after graduation, so the Career Center asks that you provide accurate contact information in the survey so they can best reach you after you receive your degree.
