Please note that other area colleges will be holding graduation ceremonies during this same time period. Traffic conditions will be congested. Guests are urged to arrive early and to car pool or use public transportation.
We highly recommend this convenient way to travel to campus during Commencement weekend. Guests should consider using the R5 Paoli/Thorndale Regional Rail service to Villanova station or the R100 High Speed Trolley service to the Stadium or Villanova stops. Visit the SEPTA website to map your trip.
Parking will be available in the Main parking lots on Route 30/Lancaster Avenue, as well as the Law School Garage and West Campus parking lots. Shuttle service will be provided from all campus parking lots to the different Commencement venues throughout campus but we encourage guests to walk.
To alleviate traffic congestion on Lancaster Avenue, Villanova has secured additional parking at Radnor Financial Center (RFC) on Radnor Chester Road (behind the Radnor Hotel, TD Bank, etc.) and will be running shuttles continuously from that site on both Friday and Saturday. The shuttles will pick up at RFC, drop off at the Connelly Center, and then loop back to RFC throughout the day and evening. Shuttles will start at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, May 13 and 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 14.
Parking and traffic conditions are extremely crowded for Commencement Weekend. We urge our guests to arrive early and to car pool or utilize public transportation. Refer to this map of campus for parking locations and please note signage along roadways for last minute alterations to parking details.
