Delaware County Community College (DCCC) and Villanova have a Guaranteed Admission and Transfer Agreement to facilitate the transfer of Delaware County Community College students into Villanova University’s Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies (BIS) degree program designed specifically for part-time students. Under the Guaranteed Admission and agreement, you will be granted admission into the BIS degree program with junior status at Villanova on the condition that you:
- Graduate from Delaware County Community College with an Associate of Art (A.A.) or Associate of Science (A.S.)
- Meet with a transfer advisor at Delaware County Community College to complete a Guaranteed Admission Intent Form and submit to the Delaware County Community College Career and Counseling Center before graduation from Delaware County Community College
- Do not attend another institution of higher-education between the time you graduate from Delaware County Community College and enroll at Villanova University in the BIS degree program
- Satisfy all other Villanova University transfer requirements for part-time study
The Part-Time Studies office will also evaluate Delaware County Community College transcripts on request for preliminary credit evaluation even if you are not interested in the BIS program or may not qualify for Guaranteed Admission. In addition, a Merit Tuition rate Program has been established for qualified Delaware County Community College students. Find out if you are eligible for a 20% merit tuition reduction.
