Transportation Options for Students

On Campus

 

Wildcat Shuttle

Villanova University provides a shuttle service, and students are encouraged to utilize the on-campus shuttle service to access locations throughout the Villanova Campus. Please visit Shuttle Information for schedule. 

Mobility Shuttle

This is primarily an on-campus shuttle for the transport of Students, Faculty and Staff whose injuries or disabilities prevent them from safely using the Wildcat Shuttle. Students who need a transport to class should call Public Safety at 610-519-5800 one half hour before the start of their first class and as soon as possible between classes.  

 

Off Campus

 

When there is a need to travel off campus, several options are available depending on the destination and time that you plan to travel off campus.

SEPTA 

South Eastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority is the public transportation service for Philadelphia and its surrounding suburbs, including Villanova University. SEPTA Passes can be purchased at the Paoli Thorndale station located behind Mendel Hall. Please visit SEPTA for all fares, routes, schedules, and to download the mobile app.

·         Regional Rail Service: R5 Paoli/Thorndale The stop is located between the Mendel Parking Lot and the Springmill Garage. Station stops include: Berwyn, Devon, Strafford, Wayne, St. Davids, Rador, Villanova, Rosemont, Bryn Mawr, Haverford, Ardmore, Wynnewood, Narberth, Merion, Overbrook, and 30th Street Staion.

·         Norristown High Speed Line: R100 The first stop is located on Ithan Ave behind I-1 Parking Garage. The second top is located behind the L-3 Parking Lot. Station stops include: Wynnewood Rd., Ardmore Junction, Ardmore Ave., Haverford, Bryn Mawr, Roberts Rd. (Rosemont), Garrett Hill, Stadium (Ithan Ave.), Villanova, Radnor, and County Line.

·         Bus Route: 106 Ardmore and Paoli to 69th Street Transportation Center Station stops include: Ardmore (Suburban Square), Lancaster and Bryn Mawr Aves., Radnor (Chester and King of Prussia Rds.), Lancaster and Wayne Aves. (Wayne), Lancaster and Main Aves. (Berwyn).

 

Zipcars

Parked right on campus and available 24/7. Information, reservations, and mobile app are available at Zipcar.

 

Taxi Service

Multiple Taxi companies service Villanova University and the surrounding areas.

Mobility Shuttle

This is primarily an On-Campus Shuttle for the transport of Students, Faculty and Staff whose injuries or disabilities prevent them from safely using the Wildcat Shuttle. Students who need a transport to class should call Public Safety at 610-519-5800 one half hour before the start of their first class and as soon as possible between classes.  

Injured or disabled students who need to go to the Rothman Institute, Bryn Mawr Hospital, Main Line Diagnosis and Excel Physical Therapy may call for the Mobility Shuttle. The Off-Campus Shuttle also transports to these locations, with the exception of Excel Physical Therapy, for students who are otherwise mobile. King of Prussia Shuttle

Operates on Friday and Saturday 6pm -12:30am except during breaks. The shuttle departs Villanova South Campus every hour. The shuttle drops off and picks up at the Dicks Sporting Goods at King of Prussia Mall. Please see Shuttle Information for schedule.
